This place attempts to scam tourists visiting the island by claiming they don't accept insurance for night calls when extremely sick. My fiancé was so sick she had to be taken the next day over to a large city two hours away because the doctor at Hana had not been competent enough to correctly diagnose and help her. Then he proceeded to say they don't accept any form of insurance for night calls and for seeing her if was a flat rate of $300. The money wasn't the problem for us. It's these people and their ignorant ways.
