Great lunch with great service,great views

Have been eating here nearly everyday and it’s definitely worth the high prices. There aren’t a ton of restaurant dining options on this side of Maui, and the Preserve could be a restaurant in any major urban area. With a focus on local cuisines, the Preserve has a simple, yet exotic menu. I loved the pohole salad (which are ladyferns/fiddleheads) and the teriyaki chicken is amazing, I’ve had it with every meal! The views are worth the price, so is the service! We were served by Styles, who was super attentive to our needs and made us feel very welcome. Can’t wait to try more items from their menu!
Went for lunch on a Friday (with reservations). Main dining room (which is shown in their photos) was closed and we were told is only used for dinner. The room used for lunch is a bit more shabby and less special. Lunch menu is limited and food was average. Service was better than adequate however. Don't rule this place out based on my review, it's still probably the nicest place in Hana, though i was expecting better.
Good, but expensive fare. The live music was great. Opt for more casual seating by the bar.
