Hotel is located just a few minutes away from downtown Hana. Room has kitchen if you feel like cooking. There are pots and pans provided for you as well as cooking spray, salt and pepper. There is outdoor seating and space to hang out with ocean views. This hotel does not have air conditioning similar to a lot locations in central Hana. Rooms are neat and clean. Parking onsite.
We stayed in Unit 203 (ocean view) in early March and it was stunningly beautiful. The view was amazing, the unit is steps from a beautiful black sand beach, and the unit itself was cozy and inviting. This was well worth the extra money, I'm so glad we decided to spend the night. If all we got to experience of Hana was the drive I think it would not have been such a great experience. We did the Seven Sacred Pools hike to the waterfall (well worth!) and then relaxed at the hotel and watched the sunrise in the morning before we left. My photos from that morning are my favourite of the whole trip.
Bedsheets are nice, toiletries smell good. Kitchen could be useful but we only stayed one night. No A/C. A few tiny insects in the room, but I think that's unavoidable.
First floor suite and still an amazing ocean view. Excellent facilities and amenities. Highly recommended.
The location couldn't be better. We like to leave our window open and listen to the ocean. The ocean can be quite loud but neighbors are often louder than the ocean. The interior is made of pretty high quality fixture and we loved spending the evening on the probate deck together. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because the walls are very thin and the cealing is as well. The first night a family was in the upstairs room and I could hear the kids running around like a herd to tiny elephants. The room next door had an argument the second night and I could hear almost every word. If the walls were thicker this would be 5 stars!
