Not a lot of beach to see . The hike to the beach is is moderately difficult . It's not a straight path and there are lots of ups and downs on the way . To go to the beach, use google maps to reach the end of the road and then it's a short hike . You would have to park the car in the road right in front of a resort ( not sure , looked like one ) . You will have to walk through lush green field to get to the trail head . It probably takes around 10-20 mins depending on how slow / fast you walk . The view of the beach from the end of the trail is really nice .

This is a secret beach, it has a rocky often treacherous path in order to get there and is not in any way handicap accessible. The tide is protected by some rocks so the water is shallow, warm and doesn’t directly go out to sea. Recommend for the traveler to Hana looking for that “remote” place. Go early - the later in the afternoon, the more people will find their way here

Gorgeous red sand beach! Have to be willing to walk around a narrow cliff and some rocks (not a big deal for me at all, but some people were afraid). Not too busy for that reason! Wear water shoes - sand is rough and there are some rocks there. Great for snorkeling!

Very scenic spot. Not the best beach for sunbathing. There's actually not a lot of sand here. Go for the scenery. Be aware the short hike to the beach is not for the faint of heart.

So...you drove all the way to Hana...and now are looking for something to do? This secluded little beach is a great option. Many people have said to park at the Community Center, but they clearly mark their lot for official business only, so you will be better off parking on the street, or in the parking lot on the northeast corner of the nearby Hana Ball Park. From there, walk through the lawn on the south side of the Community Center until you reach a narrow trail midway along the southern edge. It can be a bit overgrown at times, but if you keep following the trail, it quickly opens up as it hugs the shoreline, curving back north. The path isn't in too bad condition (despite the multiple warning signs), but you should still exercise caution as there are jagged rocks and steep cliffs in spots. Probably not a place for elderly or young children. After only a short 10-minute walk, you arrive at an amphitheater-like beach with coarse red sand and a natural lava rock breakwall that keeps the waves down. There is also vegetation at the back of the beach for shade if you so desire. As others have mentioned, water shoes are recommended because the water is rocky in spots. Pack a lunch (or take out from the couple of nearby food trucks), and enjoy a few hours. Just be aware that there are no facilities, and many people do go nude here.
