If your a high maintenance type keep away from Hana and just stay at the Ritz Carlton and still complain. Otherwise this place is awesome for most reasonable people. Tom and Paul are very gracious hosts. Clean room and very comfortable.

Fully equipped cottage and a beautiful garden. Free Wi-Fi, which we didn't expect in this remote area of Hana. Close to amazing scenery by the ocean.
This is where you come for a real Hawaiian getaway. Amazing grounds and right across the street from Waioka Pond ( Venus Pool) and down the road from Hamoa Beach. We stayed at the 2 bedroom cottage, Lani Too. Clean and cozy.
My husband, 16 year old son and I stayed in Lani Maka'alae Too on April 2. The cottage is so charming, and everything one needs is so thoughtfully provided. The landscaping is beautiful! We stayed only one night, but wished we left the touristy part of Maui sooner so that we could have stayed here longer.
