I LOVE IT SO MUCH
From the drive. The room is nothing special but that would have been ok since I was just looking for a stopping point in Hana and would continue my tour the next day. Room #1 has no ceiling fans and no AC it has one small window and a sliding glass door. It was about 80 degrees in there and it has a small portable fan that barely blew. It has a mini frig, small microwave, coffee maker. The towels felt like sand paper.
The owner Guy is concerned because Google is posting an ad without his consent and posting wrong reviews. Attempting to resolve this issue and having no luck - please consider this 20 yrs old establishment knowing it is not the 5 star hotel down the highway but a nice Hana private accommodation with everything you need.
This is a detached building behind her home. I could have lived with the room for one night but it was a warm sunny day in Hana yesterday the no air no fans wasn't going to work so I called it a loss and left.
Rolene is a very friendly and nice person, she welcomed us warm and showed us around. The room with attached bathroom is simple, but spacious and very clean. There is everything you need and more. Much better than expected, happy being here
Didn't think much about that. Arrived there yesterday to check in hot and sweaty from hiking and exhausted

Welcome to rural Hana! Don't come to Hana expecting 5 start luxury (unless you want to pay for it $$$), you're at on of the most isolated/exotic/ real places left on this earth. Rolene was accommodating and helpful. The place isn't glamorous but it's clean and mold free. My ohana enjoyed our stay, and the price was just right. I'd suggest staying here if you want to experience the real Hana. Mahalo to Rolene and her family for our stay.
Guess it's true you pay for what you get. I would not recommend this place.
