We received excellent service - from Bret meeting us at Costco to let us borrow the cooler as we stocked up on food to Mike and Sherry assisting us while we were there - everyone was very helpful.
On our first full day at the Hana Estate we spent hours just walking around, checking things out around the property. It really feels like you are in your own little paradise. The grounds are covered with gorgeous tropical plants, including a wide variety of fruit trees. (The lilikoi (passion fruit) was our favorite!). I’m not much of a golfer, but there is a beautiful course that winds all through the property.
The grounds are gorgeous. We had a golf course all to ourselves! The pool was so refreshing and perfect for the kids, they went in every day - and the pool toys definitely added to the fun. My husband and I fell in love with the outside shower - it's heated and glorious. We used the outside BBQ almost every night and the men were in heaven out there. We loved eating the fresh fruit and eggs - that was super cool. The view from upstairs was to die for. And we really enjoyed eating together on the outside deck, it was the perfect end to every day.
From the minute my wife and I pulled up for our week stay, we knew we were in for a real treat.
You should definitely stay there.
The house itself is massive and has everything you could possibly imagine. Our favorite amenities were the full outdoor kitchen (no kidding, it is a FULL kitchen) and wrap around deck (complete with a hot tub perfectly situated for a spectacular view!) The pool is perfect for lounging after a day of swimming at the beach or hiking. The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. I’ve noticed that sometimes vacation rentals are out of date and feel a bit neglected, but that is definitely not the case with the Hana Estate. Ownership of the estate recently changed hands and the new owners have done an amazing job of totally remodeling the place. New bathrooms, floors, kitchen, the works. They spared no expense in making this place a true luxury estate.
After visiting other spots throughout the island, I am convinced that Hana beats out all the others by a mile. But that being said, I almost didn’t want to leave the estate! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in a true tropical paradise.
